Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan with the aim to clean the entire country of its filth by 2019 citing it as a fitting tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary.
It has been planned to inaugurate e-Swachh Bharath programme on October 2.
The organisations aims to create awareness about the various regulations associated with e-waste. Electronic waste is emerging as a serious public health and environmental issue in India which is the “fifth largest electronic waste producer in the world.”
